Noelle Gentile: Performance and Producer

Noelle Gentile’s Broadway aspirations began at age 3 with endless
off pitch renditions of Annie’s “You’re never fully dressed,” and John
Denver’s “Sunshine on my shoulders.” Over the years her voice found its
way to the notes. She went onto a BFA musical theater program at Suny
Fredonia. After receiving a performance internship with the New York
State Theatre Institute under the direction of Pat Birch, Noelle
appeared in the Snow Queen in London’s West End. She finished her
undergraduate degree at the University at Albany where she was top of
her class. Noelle then moved to NYC to fulfill childhood dreams of
performing and working within the community. Soon after her arrival she
earned her equity card and began performing with theater companies in
and out of NYC. She also served as a teaching artist throughout the
city and is now an accomplished third grade Brooklyn public school
teacher just recently completing her master’s degree at Brooklyn
College. All the while however, Noelle continued to seek out
performance and creative opportunities. It was when Noelle began acting
in short films that she stumbled onto a new artistic path. Her work can
be seen in several short films including Sundance’s New Noir. But it is
with the latest project Push, that Noelle has truly found her voice and
her inspiration.
